Emailing paystubs in QuickBooks Online

Emailing paystubs in QuickBooks Online

For security reasons, QBO does not allow you to email paystubs as an attachment. However, paychecks are automatically sent to www.paychecks.intuit.com. Your employees can sign in there and retrieve the paystubs anytime. Also, this is where they are notified of new paychecks.

See attached instructions. This is instructions for employees to signup on www.paychecks.intuit.com.

Alternatively, follow these steps to manually email paystubs to employees.
  1. Display paycheck in QuickBooks Online.
  2. Click Print (bottom)
    1. If this shows an actual paycheck instead of a paystub, then the Paycheck Printing preferences should be changed here: https://qbo.onlinepayroll.intuit.com/in/account/clientEditPaycheckPrinting.jsp?durl=!9
  3. Right-click on paystub. click Save As and save on a location on your computer.
  4. Open email program and attach this in an email to employee.
