Duplicating Templates in QuickBooks
How to apply an invoice template's format to an estimate, sales receipt, purchase order, sales order, or credit memo (does not apply to statements).
- Design an invoice with the layout, color, fonts, etc, to match your company's colors, logo, etc.
- From the List menu select Templates.
- Highlight the designed Invoice template.
- From the Template pull-up menu (bottom left), select Duplicate.
- Select the desired type of template and click OK (note: Statements have to be designed manually or you can download statements template from the Template pull-up menu > Download Templates).
- Double-click to edit the newly created template. In the Additional Customization area, make any necessary changes (title, amount due, etc) to convert the invoice template to the applicable template.
- We recommend marking inactive any templates that you will not use.
